DEFIANCE, OH - Sandra “Sandy” Lee Davis, age 64 a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She was born on February 23, 1962, to the late Cletus and Virginia Wilhelm in Defiance, Ohio. She married Tom Davis on November 2, 1985. Sandy loved the Lord; she loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved helping others, especially when they were having times of difficulty. Sandy loved traveling with her husband, spending time with her children and grandchildren, tending to her flowers, and being by the water. She graduated from Defiance High School in 1980 and spent most of her career in banking at State Bank & Trust and data processing with RDSI. She also was the Executive Secretary to several Presidents and the board of trustees at Defiance College.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tom Davis, with whom she shared many wonderful memories. She was so incredibly proud of her children: son, Kent (Kiley) Hoffman, daughter, Jessica (Brandon) Osborn, daughters-in-love, Erica Davis and Erin (CB) Florence, and of course, her grandchildren, Amiah (Zach) Johns, Karson Hoffman, Karleigh Hoffman, Addilea Osborn, Braxton Osborn, and Keegan Florence, who were the joy of her life.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 10AM – 12PM at Free Christian Church, 20799 State Route 15, Continental, Ohio 45831. A funeral service will follow at 12PM, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Fry. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Thursday between 9-11AM. Memorial donations may be made to the church, in honor of Sandy. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
