Betty J. Kaiser
1937 - 2025
AMSTERDAM, OH - Betty J. Kaiser, age 88, of Amsterdam, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1937, in Winona, Ohio to the late Joseph and Grace (Scott) Cooper.
Betty spent many of her adult years caring for her children. She was very resourceful, working in several different positions to provide for the family. She began each day with her Bible in hand and prayers on her lips. Her mornings were spent lifting family and friends in prayer, faithfully covering them with love and hope. Though she is no longer with us, her prayers and gentle spirit continue to shine in the lives she touched.
Betty was a member of Carrolton Baptist Temple, where she also served as a church secretary for many years. Betty loved car rides, puzzles and Dairy Queen blizzards. In her younger years she could be found riding and caring for her horses on the farm.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Kaiser, who passed in 2017; her granddaughter, Stephanie (Stevie) DiCesare; great granddaughter, Destini Kinsey; brothers, Leo and Charles Cooper; and beloved daughter-in-law, Melody Kaiser.
Betty is survived by her children, Bunny DiCesare of Amsterdam, Robin (David) Jenkins of New Philadelphia, Richard Rummell of Amsterdam, Mark (Tami) Kaiser of Coeur d-Alene, Idaho, and Rick Kaiser of Morgantown, West Virginia. In addition to her children, she is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even a few beloved great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Carrollton Baptist Temple, 1211 Lincoln Ave. NW Carrollton, OH, on Monday, July 28, 2025.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor David Powell officiating.
