AMHERST, OHIO – JENNIFER LEE BISHOP, 52, of Amherst, Ohio, went into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2026. Jennifer was born on March 31, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio to Mitchell L. Long and Phyllis J. (Walborn) Long. She was a 1992 graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Jennifer continued her God-given burden to teach, serve, and advocate for individuals with special needs by earning her master’s degree in education at Ashland University.

Jennifer married the love of her life, Mark A. Bishop. Together they created a beautiful family and unforgettable memories. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother sister, aunt and faithful servant of Christ. Jennifer was a member of Parkside Church of the Nazarene West Lake where she often played her flute. She loved to travel with her family, especially taking cruises.

Jennifer’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband of 16 years, Mark A. Bishop; son, Spencer R.L. Bishop; mother, Phyllis Long; sister, Julie Long; nephew, Tyler Long; nieces, Maddie Long and Sierra Long, and a host of friends and church family.

Jennfier is preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Long; and brother, Corey Long.
