Bruce Kent Weber, 70, passed away at his residence on November 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 23, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of George and Lois (Newman) Weber. Both parents and a brother, Mark, preceded him in death.
On June 19,1966, he married Susan Reeder in Degraff Ohio. She survives in Sidney. Bruce was a graduate of Sidney High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran, during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Century Link as a Service Tech and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to Susan, he is survived by a daughter, Christine (Jason Hull) Mullennix of Sidney and a son, Jeremy (Kathleen) Weber of Piqua. He has 5 grandchildren: Jace Weber of Piqua, and in Sidney, Austin, Breanna, Cierra and Dakota Mullennix. There are also two step grandchildren:Jaselin Hull and Trace Hull. Bruce is also survived by two brothers: Darrell (Patti) Weber, of Boynton Beach Fla., and Ray Weber of Minster. He dearly loved each and every member of his family.
Bruce enjoyed doing yard work, attending antique car shows, and showing his car.
Bruce’s family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, 230 E. Poplar Street, Sidney, Ohio 45365.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11AM, at First UMC, with Rev. Eileen Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the American Legion Post, Sidney, and the US Army Honor Guard.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice or the First United Methodist Church in Bruce’s name.
