Rebecca “Becky” Sanor
1961 - 2026
CANTON, OHIO - Rebecca “Becky” Sanor, age 65, of Canton, Ohio, passed from this life into the presence of Jesus Christ on June 4, 2026, in Canton.
Becky was born in Middlefield, Ohio, on March 16, 1961, to the late Emma and Allen Mast. She was a graduate of Geauga Christian High School. Becky married the love of her life, Michael Sanor, on August 4, 1979, and together they began raising a family in Beloit, Ohio.
Becky worked for Longaberger for 15 years as a basket weaver. In her free time, she enjoyed being with her family, vacationing with family, visiting with friends, and supporting her grandchildren in their various activities. Becky’s friends and family will remember her most for her friendly and joyful spirit, infectious laugh, servant’s heart, humility, desire to please the Lord, and unwavering faith.
Becky dedicated her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Faith Bible Church in Canton, Ohio, where she served in the nursery, loved working with children, and was an avid participant in many church activities.
Becky is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Mike; siblings, Allen Mast, Paul Mast, Jeff Mast, and Judy Webb; children, Sandra (Justin) Metz, Sheryl (Mike) Brown, and Stu (Emily) Sanor; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Mast, sister, Marie Dingle, and granddaughter, Zoe Sanor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Faith Bible Church, 6655 Firestone Ave NE, Canton, OH 44721. Family and friends are invited to attend a Christ-centered celebration of life in honor of Becky following the visitation with Pastor Russ Randell officiating. Burial will take place at Henry Warstler Cemetery, Canton, Ohio.
Flowers may be delivered to the church on Thursday, June 11, 2026, between 9 - 11 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Bible Church Children’s Ministries in honor of Becky.
