Juan De Dios Torres Jr.
1968 - 2025
MCCLURE, OHIO – Juan De Dios Torres Jr., age 56, of McClure, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, after a long battle with illness. He was born on November 26, 1968, in McAllen, Texas, to Juan De Dios Torres Sr. and Lydia (Arrellano) Torres.
Juan was the Shift Supervisor for Phoenix Technologies International, LLC. He was a very hard worker with a great sense of humor. Though his health caused him to stop his vocation, he never lost the passion for working. He always wanted to be busy, which revealed itself in his continual maintenance around his house, construction projects and tinkering in his garage. He loved having his children and grandchildren close, teaching them his skills and encouraging them. Juan was full of life, he enjoyed dancing, music, and he loved to socialize with others. Juan loved the Dallas Cowboys and collected the team's memorabilia. He was also a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Parish in Bowling Green, OH.
Juan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Christina Reyes; his children, Daphne Marie, Juan Agustin, Joaquin Guillermo and Chelsey Charlene (Dan D.); his grandchildren, Isaiah Alejandro, Maddox Andres, and three step-grandchildren Audrina, Noah, Landen; his siblings, Elva Torres and Martha (Guadalupe Sepulveda), and many nieces and nephews that he loved and cared for. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan De Dios Torres Sr. and Lydia (Arrellano) Torres and his brother Eloy Torres.
Friends and family will be received at the First Baptist Church, 749 S. Wintergarden Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402, Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On Friday, February 21, 2025, at the church, a visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM and the funeral service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mick Sobieck officiating. Flowers may be delivered to First Baptist Church Thursday, February 20, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Baptist in Juan’s honor.
